Every morning I get to work, turn on my computer, check my email, and download the day’s podcasts. I used to listen to music, but when that got redundant, I wandered off to the internet for a solution and discovered daily news podcasts! While cleaning, reviewing, and editing code, i listen to the news and sip on my coffee.

Here is my morning news routine in my daily listening order:

Rachel Maddow Show Audio

Funny and super liberal. Listening to this first jump starts my day, especially when i start laughing out loud by myself with my big headphones on. Its only audio though, so sometimes, i have to download the video when i get home to see what she’s talking about.

KUT Morning Newspod

Local Austin news. It never ceases to amaze me what kinds of things are happening here.

An amazing listen. Its more than just news, its a little documentary.
